I am beginning a new semester of ENC 1102 for Fall of 2016 and I plan to blog about each night of class. The first class was on Tuesday night and I have a large class-25 students. even though it is a computer lab, the entire room is full! It will make it challenging to try group work, however, I plan to try more collaborative assignments instead of groups. I do have 7 students from previous classes so that makes it a little easier on me because they do influence the behavior of the other students! Of course, they were excellent students in my previous class!! I plan to do more critical thinking exercises and focus on mindset theory to see if it makes a difference in how the students learn in my class.
